The communal areas feature concrete and timber styled Italian porcelain floors combined with reclaimed brick, timber panelling, steel artefacts and furnishings. The lighting installation has been commissioned and designed using recycled structural pieces from local industrial buildings to maintain The Pianowork’s original character.

The entrance lobby and communal landings have been designed to reflecttoday’s style of industrial interior design. They are complemented by a combination of lacquered panelling and ceramic wood, with woven technical fibre area rugs set in the floors.

The apartments themselves have grey-stained engineered oak flooring throughout, creating the distinctive aura of a piano warehouse. The walls and all built-in joinery are lacquered in a subtle tone of white with inset anthracite lacquered handles reminiscent of a piano keyboard.

The en-suite bathrooms have luxury walk-in showers with glass walls, overhead showers and hand-showers. Family bathrooms are fitted with similar styled and quality fittings, but include a bath with adjustable shower and glass screen.

The kitchen and living room are open plan and have an “up and over framework” to visually isolate them from the main room. High gloss lacquer base cabinets match the stone worktops, lacquered glass splash backs and timber overhead cabinets.

All rooms have provision for Wi-Fi and are pre-wired for ceiling speakers and sound distribution via Sonos systems, which are available on request.

Both bathrooms have separate lowlevel LED lighting for a softer feel which can be enhanced by overhead and mirror lighting if desired

All ironmongery is polished chrome for the brighter detail. Each apartment has two bathrooms, one en-suite and one family, both of which have been fully tiled with matt and polished Italian porcelain tiles, with textured patterns and finishes in similar palettes.
